Spectators: 7074 (Terracing: 5306, Seating: 1627, VIP seats: 141) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Laureano Chus kicked off to start the match. Vinicio Evarado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roque Sanduru, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Roque Sanduru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vinicio Evarado having to interfere. Fausto Francho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Benigno Asteri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Laureano Chus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th minute, Laureano Chus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benigno Asteri was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Fausto Francho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benigno Asteri having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Laureano Chus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panambí's supporters rose to their feet, but Laureano Chus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benigno Asteri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Filomeno Loiola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute, Teobaldo Bonifaco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute, Fausto Francho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Panambí's zone, Roque Sanduru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vinicio Evarado came out of the goal and Roque Sanduru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th minute, Luis Ferdinand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Panambí were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After having played for 67 minutes, Fausto Francho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panambí's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fausto Francho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Laureano Chus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benigno Asteri having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fernan Laffitte during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Benigno Asteri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laureano Chus in the 70th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Laureano Chus managed to get in a good position for a shot. After a rather tough play, Panambí's Teobaldo Bonifaco got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Primera Junta's Benigno Asteri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laureano Chus in the 94th minute of play. After 97 played minutes Panambí got a freekick which was hit by Nunez Tristan. After 98 played minutes, Primera Junta's Anselmo Resto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vinicio Evarado came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Primera Junta reached it. Panambí's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
