Spectators: 7074 (Terracing: 5306, Seating: 1627, VIP seats: 141) Roque Sanduru started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 7th minute Eusebio Chorache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benigno Asteri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvaro Criston's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rene Quintan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Primera Junta's Roque Sanduru ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rene Quintan. Rene Quintan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After having played for 13 minutes, Roque Sanduru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Primera Junta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roque Sanduru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Cuchilla's Filiberto Regis got a free kick in the 14th minute. Eusebio Chorache fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benigno Asteri having to interfere. Filomeno Loiola hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Bartolo Txomin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Benigno Asteri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Filiberto Regis made a precise shot to the right of Benigno Asteri. Primera Junta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. With a little luck, Cuchilla's Rene Quintan got control of the ball when Alvaro Criston tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fernan Laffitte's late challenge caught a Cuchilla's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fernan Laffitte helped the player get up and apologised. After 34 played minutes Primera Junta got a freekick which was hit by Fernan Laffitte. After a defensive mix-up in Primera Junta's zone, Eusebio Chorache stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benigno Asteri came out of the goal and Eusebio Chorache tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 39 minutes into the match, Primera Junta's goal looked a bit too open when Eusebio Chorache came free, but Benigno Asteri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernan Laffitte hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. If Alvaro Criston had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the game, Primera Junta's Alvaro Criston nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rene Quintan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eusebio Chorache stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Alvaro Criston had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rene Quintan came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Primera Junta's Roque Sanduru. But to his dismay, Roque Sanduru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Alvaro Criston received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Rene Quintan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Primera Junta getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Sebastian Elazar hit a great ball. Filiberto Regis was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 64th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Rene Quintan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Criston in the 78th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Cuchilla's goal looked a bit too open when Roque Sanduru came free, but Rene Quintan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Cuchilla's zone, Roque Sanduru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rene Quintan came out of the goal and Roque Sanduru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cuchilla's Rene Quintan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Criston in the 83rd minute of play. Fernan Laffitte was shown his second yellow card after 88 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Primera Junta's Fernan Laffitte got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 92nd minute of the match Cuchilla got a corner. Primera Junta's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Filiberto Regis ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Primera Junta's goalie and right to Baldomiro Cordeara. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Primera Junta's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Inocencio Ciceron's late challenge caught a Cuchilla's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Inocencio Ciceron helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Cuchilla booed when Primera Junta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inocencio Ciceron didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bartolo Txomins short, quick shot in the 96thth minute got Benigno Asteri to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Primera Junta's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
