Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Laureano Chus took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute Aurelio Pelayo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinicio Evarado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fausto Francho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Jimeno Vistruario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Panambí booed when Pavón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardino Birjaio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aurelio Pelayo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Vinicio Evarado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Panambí's Vinicio Evarado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Panambí from getting a goal against them. After 16 played minutes, Panambí's Julian Mergildo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jimeno Vistruario came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Panambí reached it. The audience was convinced that Fausto Francho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jimeno Vistruario was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. If Fausto Francho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Panambí's goalkeeper Vinicio Evarado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fausto Francho scored 0-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jimeno Vistruario, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Francho in the 35th minute of play forced Pavón's goalkeeper Jimeno Vistruario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Teobaldo Bonifaco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fausto Francho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Jimeno Vistruario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laureano Chus in the 44th minute of play forced Pavón's goalkeeper Jimeno Vistruario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laureano Chus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Jimeno Vistruario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jimeno Vistruario stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Laureano Chus's shot from short distance in the 48th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aurelio Pelayo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jimeno Vistruario made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fausto Francho in the 56th minute. After 57 played minutes Pavón got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Pelayo. If Laureano Chus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fausto Francho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Jimeno Vistruario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santos Tanio kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Nestor Guillelme didn't quite understand what happened when in the 70 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. When Evaristo Lop fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Panambí's protests and gave Evaristo Lop a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80th match minute, Panambí was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Lop to maneuver through the defense. After 83 played minutes Panambí got a freekick which was hit by Luis Ferdinand. Jaime Austin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the match, Panambí's Fausto Francho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jimeno Vistruario narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jimeno Vistruario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laureano Chus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 93 minutes, Laureano Chus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panambí's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laureano Chus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jimeno Vistruario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laureano Chus, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Nunez Tristan kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. When Dante Sengrat came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Pavón fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dante Sengrat couldn't finish the play. Panambí's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
