Spectators: 7267 (Terracing: 5452, Seating: 1671, VIP seats: 144) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Eusebio Chorache got the match started through his kick off. The Chimuelo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Victorio Herauso made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Bartolo Txomin sent off a good shot on target. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Cuchilla's Eusebio Chorache in the 11th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Victorio Herauso was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Chimuelo FC through an amazing save. Eusebio Chorache received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Victorio Herauso came out and tried to block the shot, but Eusebio Chorache slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 13th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Bonifacio Munio in the 16th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Chimuelo FC's Everardo Calvino. Oscar Goiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rene Quintan having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Bartolo Txomin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cuchilla's supporters rose to their feet, but Bartolo Txomin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victorio Herauso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Victorio Herauso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bartolo Txomin in the 24th minute. If Oscar Goiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eustacio Gergori received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Rene Quintan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bartolo Txomin during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Chimuelo FC's Victorio Herauso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Chimuelo FC from getting a goal against them. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eustacio Gergori to strike the kick off in the second half. Victorio Herauso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusebio Chorache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rene Quintan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eustacio Gergori in the 54th minute. Cuchilla's Rene Quintan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Goiano in the 58th minute of play. Oscar Goiano struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Rene Quintan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chimuelo FC. After 62 played minutes Chimuelo FC got a freekick which was hit by Amador Diaz. During the 63rd minute of the match Bartolo Txomin completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Bartolo Txomin a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Bonifacio Munio made in the 66th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Gavino Fidencio however managed to control. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Eustacio Gergori sped through Cuchilla's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rene Quintan. Eustacio Gergori blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rene Quintan having to make a save. Eusebio Chorache fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorio Herauso having to interfere. Eustacio Gergori took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rene Quintan. Rene Quintan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Chimuelo FC's Filomeno Ibar was substituted for Eustacio Gergori. Oscar Goiano might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rene Quintan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oscar Goiano ran back to his position shaking his head. 85 minutes into the match, Chimuelo FC's Oscar Goiano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rene Quintan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Filomeno Ibar might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rene Quintan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filomeno Ibar ran back to his position shaking his head. Victorio Herauso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Toro in the 92nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Cuchilla defense, Filomeno Ibar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rene Quintan. The Cuchilla fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rene Quintan should have stopped the shot.
