When Dionisio Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Fabiano FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dionisio Sancho couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Dionisio Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fabiano FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dionisio Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raul Faron breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 28 minutes into the game, Celestino Pello was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CARASUCIAS FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fabiano FC the free kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jacobo Maties to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in CARASUCIAS FC's zone, Jacobo Maties stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raul Faron came out of the goal and Jacobo Maties tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Orlando Dolfos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 61st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Faustino Cordareo. Fabiano FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 63rd minute Celestino Pello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustino Cordareo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacobo Maties in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raul Faron prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dionisio Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Faron having to interfere. In the 71st minute Celestino Pello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustino Cordareo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 74 minutes, Dionisio Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fabiano FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dionisio Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Fabiano FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented CARASUCIAS FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
