In the 46th minute of the match, Manuel Silvanito tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hermengildo Bero saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Manuel Silvanito's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hermengildo Bero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manuel Silvanito was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Manuel Silvanito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermengildo Bero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Segurola y Habana's supporters rose to their feet, but Ambrosio Mantzio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomas Nastasio charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomas Nastasio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 90th minute, Manuel Silvanito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 91st match minute, Demaria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorato Maraman to maneuver through the defense. After 96 played minutes Segurola y Habana got a freekick which was hit by Benicio Pereyra. Demaria were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Segurola y Habana's much stronger midfield.
