In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Candelaria's goalkeeper Bernabe Mikelats, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Segurola y Habana's Maximo Euloxu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Segurola y Habana from getting a goal against them. Manuel Silvanito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 25 minutes into the game, Jacobo Guter was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Candelaria's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Segurola y Habana the free kick. The supporters of Segurola y Habana booed when Candelaria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacobo Guter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benicio Pereyra hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Candelaria's Urbano Clis suffered a concussion in the 34th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. A collision led to Segurola y Habana getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Benicio Pereyra hit a great ball. Bernabe Mikelats made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ambrosio Mantzio in the 39th minute of play. In the 41stth minute of the game Ambrosio Mantzio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Candelaria's Bernabe Mikelats was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. During the 43rd minute of the match Jacobo Guter completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jacobo Guter a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Jacobo Guter hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. 45 minutes into the match, Segurola y Habana's Manuel Silvanito sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernabe Mikelats narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ambrosio Mantzio in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernabe Mikelats prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Manuel Silvanito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Bernabe Mikelats tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Manuel Silvanito to make the kick off. After 59 played minutes Segurola y Habana got a freekick which was hit by Benicio Pereyra. A collision led to Candelaria getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Cristobal Kepa hit a great ball. The supporters of Segurola y Habana booed when Candelaria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Romano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Segurola y Habana's Celedonio Meder broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. With a little luck, Candelaria's Bernabe Mikelats got control of the ball when Ambrosio Mantzio tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Segurola y Habana fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when Segurola y Habana's Ambrosio Mantzio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some careless play in the Candelaria defense, Ambrosio Mantzio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernabe Mikelats. The Candelaria fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernabe Mikelats should have stopped the shot. After 87 played minutes Segurola y Habana got a freekick which was hit by Federico Abaurre. Candelaria's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Ambrosio Mantzio scored to the left of an out of position Bernabe Mikelats, making the score, 0-6. Segurola y Habana's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
