When Eulalio Foro fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tuqui Luli's protests and gave Eulalio Foro a yellow card for diving instead. After 3 played minutes Tuqui Luli got a freekick which was hit by Eulalio Foro. Eulalio Foro got his second yellow card in the match during the 7th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Eulalio Foro kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Faustino Txaran's late challenge caught a Pochin FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Faustino Txaran helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Pochin FC booed when Tuqui Luli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faustino Txaran didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 13 minutes, Mariano Selatse successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Cleto Lauro hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After 18 minutes of play, Tuqui Luli's Gaspar Bertran made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nunez Jon was left in no man's land by his defense there! 23 minutes into the match, Tuqui Luli's goalkeeper Mariano Selatse had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leopoldo Daunte. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pochin FC's goalkeeper Nunez Jon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Feliberto Musko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Selatse having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, Gaspar Bertran had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nunez Jon. Pochin FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gaspar Bertran was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Tuqui Luli's Mariano Selatse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Daunte in the 45th minute of play. Nunez Jon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camilo Roland, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gaspar Bertran was the one to do the kick off. Gaspar Bertran might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nunez Jon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gaspar Bertran ran back to his position shaking his head. Gaspar Bertrans short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Nunez Jon to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 54th minute, one of Pochin FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pochin FC. When the match had been going on for 55 minutes, Tuqui Luli's Luciano Ferrando got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Nunez Jon. If Gaspar Bertran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute Feliberto Musko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Selatse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaspar Bertran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Nunez Jon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Camilo Roland hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Gaspar Bertran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Gaspar Bertran took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Nunez Jon to make any attempt to save it. Gaspar Bertran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Nunez Jon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 97th minute of the match Generoso Roano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mariano Selatse showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the final whistle sounded Tuqui Luli left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Pochin FC.
