Spectators: 7198 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 143) Gonzalo Jordy made the kick off and thus started the match. Pascual Hever came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Sao Caetano's Gonzalo Jordy. But to his dismay, Gonzalo Jordy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Pascual Hever didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicanor Nastasio went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amancio Elivareo in the 17th minute of play forced Paraná IV's goalkeeper Pascual Hever to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pascual Hever showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonzalo Jordy, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd match minute, Paraná IV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Henrico to maneuver through the defense. After 24 played minutes, Sao Caetano's Sixto Terciero shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pascual Hever came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sao Caetano reached it. After 25 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Paraná IV! 35 minutes in the game, Osvaldo Aritza fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Mauricio Francis having to interfere. Lucas Grabiel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ivan Henrico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amancio Elivareo hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Mauricio Francis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo Aritza in the 44th minute of play. After the first half Sao Caetano were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Angel Blasi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gonzalo Jordy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osvaldo Aritza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Mauricio Francis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Sao Caetano getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Amancio Elivareo hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Paraná IV's Everardo Gaspard got a free kick in the 88th minute. Igor Cresenciano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascual Hever having to interfere. After 92 played minutes Sao Caetano got a freekick which was hit by Julian Gonchan. Bonifacio Gines kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. After 96 played minutes Sao Caetano got a freekick which was hit by Igor Cresenciano. When the final whistle went the supporters of Sao Caetano were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Paraná IV side.
