Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Christian Iaki made the kick off which started today's match. Nestor Bermudo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucio Barbosa in the 5th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Lucio Barbosa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nestor Bermudo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Christian Iaki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Primitivo Primeiro having to interfere. In the 19th minute Zacarias Cordaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Bermudo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zacarias Cordaro's late challenge caught a Vipos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zacarias Cordaro helped the player get up and apologised. Federico Txeru was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 27 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute, Federico Txeru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the game, Antonio Bastiaro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vipos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atletico Madariaga the free kick. After 29 played minutes Vipos FC got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Bastiaro. After a rather tough play, Vipos FC's Leon Lordi got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Nestor Bermudo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Elazar in the 34th minute of play. A collision led to Vipos FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Antonio Bastiaro hit a great ball. After 43 minutes, Albano Maldonado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atletico Madariaga and the Vipos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lucio Barbosa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Atletico Madariaga's zone, Severiano Lazcano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Primitivo Primeiro came out of the goal and Severiano Lazcano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vipos FC's Severiano Lazcano got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nestor Bermudo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nunez Beila in the 73rd minute. The supporters of Atletico Madariaga booed when Vipos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Bastiaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leandro Elazar during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Leandro Elazar kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. If Francisco Feliz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Severiano Lazcano struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Primitivo Primeiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vipos FC. The Atletico Madariaga supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Atletico Madariaga would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
