The supporters of Atletico Madariaga booed when Miraflores was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Emeterio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zacarias Cordaro kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Candido Herauso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Primitivo Primeiro. Atletico Madariaga's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Candido Herauso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After having played for 40 minutes, Candido Herauso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Miraflores's supporters crossed their fingers, but Candido Herauso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Lucio Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lucio Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

The wind increased when Lucio Barbosa made the kick off in the second half. Lucio Barbosa struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Victorino Malvin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atletico Madariaga. Miraflores's Victorino Malvin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucio Barbosa in the 72nd minute of play. In the 77th minute, Lucio Barbosa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atletico Madariaga fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Atletico Madariaga's Primitivo Primeiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Atletico Madariaga from getting a goal against them. Nunez Beila scored 2-2 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Victorino Malvin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Atletico Madariaga's Primitivo Primeiro got control of the ball when Candido Herauso tried to sneak it across the goal line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
