Atletico Rafaela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Anibal Gorosti scored to the left of an out of position Ovidio Vasco, making the score, 3-1. 28 minutes into the match, Atletico Rafaela's goal looked a bit too open when Anibal Gorosti came free, but Ovidio Vasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ubaldo Justin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Ovidio Vasco skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Atletico Rafaela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Siro Urti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lorenzo Blasi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Uzuri having to interfere. In the 42nd minute Lorenzo Blasi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Uzuri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Atletico Rafaela's goal looked a bit too open when Anibal Gorosti came free, but Ovidio Vasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Siro Urti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atletico Rafaela's supporters rose to their feet, but Siro Urti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustavo Uzuri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lorenzo Blasi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Gustavo Uzuri made a huge save. Anibal Gorosti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Ovidio Vasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
