Serafino Martinez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Santiago Pelayo having to make a save. In the 8th minute, Geronimo Jerano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute Manuel Clementi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteban Batista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zacarias Rocendo took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Esteban Batista. Esteban Batista dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Intocables FC's Zacarias Rocendo got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 21 minutes into the game, Manuel Clementi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Intocables FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ceferino Namuncura the free kick. Manuel Clementi kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zacarias Rocendo in the 23rd minute of play forced Ceferino Namuncura's goalkeeper Esteban Batista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Serafino Martinez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Santiago Pelayo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomás Quico might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Santiago Pelayo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomás Quico ran back to his position shaking his head. Santiago Pelayo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Serafino Martinez's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. After 33 minutes of play Intocables FC's Manuel Clementi was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Ceferino Namuncura booed when Intocables FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Clementi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomás Quico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Santiago Pelayo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Serafino Martinez in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Santiago Pelayo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Serafino Martinez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomás Quico took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Santiago Pelayo. Santiago Pelayo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Felipe Cordara's late challenge caught a Ceferino Namuncura's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felipe Cordara helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ceferino Namuncura booed when Intocables FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ceferino Namuncura's Esteban Batista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apolo Aurken in the 70th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Serafino Martinez put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Santiago Pelayo. Santiago Pelayo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafino Martinez in the 86th minute of the match. Santiago Pelayo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Serafino Martinez's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafino Martinez in the 94th minute of play forced Intocables FC's goalkeeper Santiago Pelayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Leopoldo Gonsalve had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ceferino Namuncura walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
