Lorenzo Blasi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Siro Urti in the 13th minute of play forced Patapufete FC's goalkeeper Maximo Demario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicanor Paulin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ovidio Vasco. Atletico Rafaela's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Quinton in the 22nd minute of play forced Atletico Rafaela's goalkeeper Ovidio Vasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute, Siro Urti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Salvador Chayo got free with Ovidio Vasco in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ovidio Vasco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Quinton, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lorenzo Blasi to make the kick off. If Siro Urti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lorenzo Blasi struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Maximo Demario didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atletico Rafaela. In the 57th minute, Justino Jurdan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Atletico Rafaela booed when Patapufete FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apolo Montez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atletico Rafaela's Ovidio Vasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorino Pacorro in the 68th minute of play. Victorino Pacorro charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victorino Pacorro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Patapufete FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Victorino Pacorro hit a great ball. Cristian Quinton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Ovidio Vasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Quinton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Quinton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Vasco having to interfere. Lorenzo Blasi might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maximo Demario. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lorenzo Blasi ran back to his position shaking his head. Lorenzo Blasi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute Cristian Quinton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Vasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Patapufete FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Atletico Rafaela for much of the match.
