Ovidio Vasco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apolo Aurken, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Siro Urti came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Atletico Rafaela fans jumped to their feet. After a defensive mix-up in Intocables FC's zone, Lorenzo Blasi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santiago Pelayo came out of the goal and Lorenzo Blasi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Lorenzo Blasi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ovidio Vasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geronimo Jerano in the 30th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Intocables FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lorenzo Blasi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Siro Urti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atletico Rafaela's supporters rose to their feet, but Siro Urti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santiago Pelayo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Apolo Aurken fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Vasco having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Siro Urti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 75 minutes into the match, Atletico Rafaela's goal looked a bit too open when Geronimo Jerano came free, but Ovidio Vasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Intocables FC's Santiago Pelayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Siro Urti in the 76th minute of play. The supporters of Atletico Rafaela booed when Intocables FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Clementi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ovidio Vasco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Apolo Aurken in the 80th minute. An unexpected shot in the 81st minute by Apolo Aurken got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ceferino Nel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ovidio Vasco. Atletico Rafaela's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Apolo Aurken fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Vasco having to interfere. Lorenzo Blasi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Pelayo having to interfere. Alfredo Cristofor kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After 90 minutes Intocables FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Siro Urti who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Atletico Rafaela's Justino Jurdan getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. If Lorenzo Blasi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lorenzo Blasi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Pelayo having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Atletico Rafaela players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
