The referee ignored Los Teros's protests and gave Mateo Gaizko a yellow card for diving instead. In the 5th match minute, Los Teros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mateo Gaizko to maneuver through the defense. Ubaldo Justin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Diego Henric might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gustavo Uzuri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Diego Henric ran back to his position shaking his head. If Diego Henric had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 15 minutes into the game, Conrado Casomiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vander United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Teros the free kick. In the 15th match minute, Vander United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado Casomiro to maneuver through the defense. Teofilo Isidor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teofilo Isidor in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gustavo Uzuri saved Vander United from getting behind. When Mateo Gaizko was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 30 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Los Teros's Mateo Gaizko got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 32nd match minute, Los Teros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teofilo Isidor to maneuver through the defense. When Ubaldo Justin came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Vander United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ubaldo Justin couldn't finish the play. In the 38th minute, Israel Cristofol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 40 minutes into the match, Los Teros's goalkeeper Denílson Sanches had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ubaldo Justin. Gustavo Uzuri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Henric, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Los Teros's Denílson Sanches proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Los Teros from getting a goal against them.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ubaldo Justin made a kick off. Gustavo Uzuri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofilo Isidor in the 53rd minute of the match. Denílson Sanches didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ubaldo Justin went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. If Diego Henric had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Ubaldo Justin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vander United's supporters rose to their feet, but Ubaldo Justin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denílson Sanches breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 69 minutes into the match, Vander United's Conrado Casomiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Denílson Sanches narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 70 minutes of play, Los Teros's Teofilo Isidor made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gustavo Uzuri was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gustavo Uzuri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Henric in the 75th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Diego Henric made a precise shot to the right of Gustavo Uzuri. Vander United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 81st minute, Los Teros's Israel Cristofol ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gustavo Uzuri. Gustavo Uzuri yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Teofilo Isidor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Gustavo Uzuri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gustavo Uzuri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopoldo Delfino, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Vander United's zone, Diego Henric stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustavo Uzuri came out of the goal and Diego Henric tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Vander United getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Conrado Casomiro hit a great ball. Los Teros's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
