The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nicanor Belarmo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaldo Ruisko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roque Argi in the 9th minute of play forced Fierrazo Social Club's goalkeeper Prospero Martinez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicanor Belarmo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmacio Ellande in the 15th minute of play. After 19 played minutes Fierrazo Social Club got a freekick which was hit by Celedonio Aznaro. Prospero Martinez had great luck who in the 22ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Nemesio Berenguer from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After a defensive mix-up in DEPORTIVO RAYA's zone, Dalmacio Ellande stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicanor Belarmo came out of the goal and Dalmacio Ellande tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arnaldo Ruisko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Nicanor Belarmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the game, Nemesio Berenguer recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Prospero Martinez. Nemesio Berenguer showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Ignacio Medardo struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Prospero Martinez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DEPORTIVO RAYA. Nemesio Berenguer had several of the Fierrazo Social Club's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 38 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Prospero Martinez as he didn't even see the shot coming. When DEPORTIVO RAYA's Nemesio Berenguer in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fierrazo Social Club's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice moves Ignacio Medardo could shoot a difficult shot in the 47th minute, which Prospero Martinez however easily saved by the left post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nemesio Berenguer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Prospero Martinez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nemesio Berenguer, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. The supporters of DEPORTIVO RAYA booed when Fierrazo Social Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Arias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnaldo Ruisko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicanor Belarmo having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Nemesio Berenguer made a precise shot to the right of Prospero Martinez. Fierrazo Social Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. With a little luck, DEPORTIVO RAYA's Nicanor Belarmo got control of the ball when Arnaldo Ruisko tried to sneak it across the goal line. 67 minutes into the game, Nemesio Berenguer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Fierrazo Social Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dalmacio Ellande was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 93rd minute, Fierrazo Social Club's Adan Guilabertus seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Adan Guilabertus the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Fierrazo Social Club protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Adan Guilabertus had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 92nd minute, one of Fierrazo Social Club:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Fierrazo Social Club. In the 98th minute, Amado Tabor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
