Diamante FC:s Egon Kvist showed great skill when he stopped Freddy Abarca:s penalty. A collision led to Juancho getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Alejo Dominguez hit a great ball. Teodoro Canor kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Eulalio Teodor's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, Egon Kvist skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eulalio Teodor got free with Egon Kvist in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guaberto Sein in the 38th minute of play forced Diamante FC's goalkeeper Egon Kvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Guaberto Sein managed to get in a good position for a shot. Juancho's supporters rose to their feet, but Guaberto Sein was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Egon Kvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 41 minutes into the match, Juancho's Eulalio Teodor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Egon Kvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
