When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gregorio Ascencio made a kick off. Marco Arias hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. If Sergio Maurin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute, one of Diamante FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Diamante FC. Diamante FC:s Egon Kvist showed great skill when he stopped Celedonio Aznaro:s penalty. After 73 minutes Diamante FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Celedonio Aznaro who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dalmacio Ellande in the 74th minute of play forced Diamante FC's goalkeeper Egon Kvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Diamante FC's zone, Dalmacio Ellande stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Egon Kvist came out of the goal and Dalmacio Ellande tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Egon Kvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dalmacio Ellande, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adan Guilabertus during the 100th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fierrazo Social Club's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
