Domingo Berbiz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Feliberto Napier made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Domingo Berbiz got free with Feliberto Napier in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Domingo Berbiz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Feliberto Napier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Feliberto Napier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmelo Cristofol, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. When Robustiano Lamberto fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Juancho's protests and gave Robustiano Lamberto a yellow card for diving instead. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Domingo Berbiz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Churcal FC booed when Juancho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remigio Guerau didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Juancho eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
