In the 20th minute of the match, Leopoldo Perrando tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Victorino Betadur saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 20 played minutes Revolucion 87 got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Janpier. Jacinto Joseph sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francisco Garci in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maximino Gonsalve prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 27 minutes into the game, Gogo Jacob was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tumbaya FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Revolucion 87 the free kick. In the 27th match minute, Tumbaya FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gogo Jacob to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute Francisco Garci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximino Gonsalve saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacinto Joseph received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Victorino Betadur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 48thth minute of the game Francisco Garci who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tumbaya FC's Maximino Gonsalve was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gustavo Olando was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Arsenio Aires hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Francisco Garci managed to get in a good position for a shot. Revolucion 87's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Garci was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximino Gonsalve breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Revolucion 87 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victorino Betadur should have stopped the shot. If Francisco Garci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82ndth minute of the game Gustavo Olando who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tumbaya FC's Maximino Gonsalve was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Gustavo Olando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisco Garci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
