When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Ovidio Vergaray took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Marciano Ado to make any attempt to save it. In the 16th minute, WISGOTHS's Ovidio Vergaray ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marciano Ado. Delmar Ariando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulino Demesio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute Ovidio Vergaray shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marciano Ado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. laparca's Paulino Demesio got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. WISGOTHS's Delmar Ariando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonides Goiz in the 34th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ovidio Vergaray in the 38th minute of play forced laparca's goalkeeper Marciano Ado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Leonides Goiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, laparca's Jairo Iraido got a free kick in the 42nd minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ovidio Vergaray was the one to do the kick off. Delmar Ariando was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 77th minute Saul Martxot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marciano Ado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ovidio Vergaray's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marciano Ado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
