Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eleuterio Beila in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Feliberto Merexildo saved Puchuzún from getting behind. Pastor Salamon's late challenge caught a Puchuzún's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pastor Salamon helped the player get up and apologised. In the 10th minute, Pastor Salamon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Feliberto Merexildo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pastor Salamon, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. When Astor Michael came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Puchuzún fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Astor Michael couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Astor Michael managed to get in a good position for a shot. Puchuzún's supporters rose to their feet, but Astor Michael was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jairo Tipi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Feliberto Merexildo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 99th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Dante Bartuelo.
