Spectators: 7238 (Terracing: 5430, Seating: 1665, VIP seats: 143) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Enrique Sandaili made the kick off which started today's match. When Mantico FC's Vicente Veto in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chelco's goalie prevented a goal. Vicente Veto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 6 minutes into the match, Mantico FC's Enrique Sandaili sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jairo Tipi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 8th minute Enrique Sandaili shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Tipi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th match minute, Chelco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorino Nalo to maneuver through the defense. Enrique Sandaili fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairo Tipi having to interfere. Victorino Nalo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Modesto Bernat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pastor Salamon took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Modesto Bernat. Modesto Bernat dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Enrique Sandaili sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vicente Veto in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jairo Tipi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 37 minutes of play, Chelco's Pastor Salamon made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Modesto Bernat was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vicente Veto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chelco's Eleuterio Beila got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pastor Salamon made a kick off. Modesto Bernat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pastor Salamon in the 55th minute of play. If Enrique Sandaili had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jairo Tipi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Sandaili in the 58th minute of play. If Eleuterio Beila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pastor Salamon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Modesto Bernat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pastor Salamon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eleuterio Beila got free with Modesto Bernat in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 73 minutes, Pastor Salamon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chelco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pastor Salamon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 77th minute, Pastor Salamon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jairo Tipi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Sandaili, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Victorino Nalo hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute Mantico FC were awarded a corner. Lucio Gabirel went to the cornerflag to take it. Eleuterio Beila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Bernat having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Chelco eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
