Julian Markel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uriel Gaizkine in the 3rd minute of the match. If Astor Michael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 9 minutes into the match, Puchuzún's Astor Michael sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julian Markel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Feliberto Merexildo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gavino Feliz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Uriel Gaizkine's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julian Markel was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. 15 minutes into the match, Puchuzún's Astor Michael sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julian Markel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gavino Feliz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliberto Merexildo having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Galarza's goalkeeper Julian Markel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 60th match minute, Galarza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saul Benitez to maneuver through the defense. Astor Michael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julian Markel having to interfere. Reynaldo Froylan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Salvador Lucila hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Gavino Feliz took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Feliberto Merexildo. Feliberto Merexildo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 74th match minute, Galarza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Milian to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uriel Gaizkine in the 75th minute of play forced Galarza's goalkeeper Julian Markel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute, Reynaldo Froylan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Galarza booed when Puchuzún was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Lucila didn't get a good kick on the ball. Puchuzún's Feliberto Merexildo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Froylan in the 81st minute of play. Saul Benitez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Feliberto Merexildo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 85 minutes, Reynaldo Froylan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galarza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reynaldo Froylan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carolo Arano kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 89th match minute, Puchuzún was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Luzea to maneuver through the defense. Reynaldo Froylan struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Feliberto Merexildo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galarza. After 93 minutes of play, Galarza's Gavino Feliz made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Feliberto Merexildo was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Galarza fans cheered their team off the field, for while Puchuzún had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
