But to his dismay, Theodor Torsvik quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of Ataliva booed when Cleipole FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Murat Selim Raşit didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcelino Hechter hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Paulino Asteri struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Ruben Lalla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ataliva. Victoriano Rio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After the first half Cleipole FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nestor Mark stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ataliva's Victoriano Rio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Basualdo in the 53rd minute of play. Dario Eleder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ataliva's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Gaston Seme scored to the left of an out of position Victoriano Rio, making the score, 0-4. 60 minutes into the match, Blas Chano notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Ataliva's Victoriano Rio. Victoriano Rio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Theodor Torsviks short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Victoriano Rio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Theodor Torsvik could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Victoriano Rio made a huge save. Theodor Torsvik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 85 minutes, Theodor Torsvik made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. Ataliva's Victoriano Rio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Theodor Torsvik could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Victoriano Rio made a huge save. The Ataliva supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cleipole FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Cleipole FC.
