The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tiburcio Sedeni during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Galle F.C.'s Tiburcio Sedeni got a free kick in the 3rd minute. If Marcelo Favila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 7th minute, Marcelo Favila got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adolfo Rodas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Váldson Cardozo in the 9th minute of play. A collision led to Galle F.C. getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Ignacio Behe hit a great ball. When The Pablosky Club's Marcelo Favila in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. If Váldson Cardozo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the match, Marcelo Favila notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Galle F.C.'s Adolfo Rodas. Adolfo Rodas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marcelo Favila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Rodas having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Váldson Cardozo made a precise shot to the right of Adolfo Rodas. Galle F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Conrado Galindo to strike the kick off in the second half. Sergio Eutropio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caio Coelho having to interfere. In the 64th minute of the match, Marcelo Favila got a very nice opportunity to score, but Adolfo Rodas was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After having played for 69 minutes, Marcelo Favila managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Pablosky Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelo Favila was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nunez Abadia was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 71 minutes into the match. 71 minutes into the game, one of The Pablosky Club:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Galle F.C. a penalty, 74 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Pedro Lauren, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of The Pablosky Club's Caio Coelho. 1-4. In the 77th match minute, Galle F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignacio Behe to maneuver through the defense. 84 minutes into the game, Leo Remicio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Pablosky Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Galle F.C. the free kick. The supporters of Galle F.C. booed when The Pablosky Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Remicio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute Sergio Eutropio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caio Coelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelo Favila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Rodas having to interfere. Leonardo Enol struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Adolfo Rodas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Pablosky Club. If Leonardo Enol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marcelo Favila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Adolfo Rodas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Pablosky Club's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
