With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pablo Chorache in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alejo Ebardo saved Metán from getting behind. 7 minutes into the match, Federal 's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Theodore came free, but Norberto Bilbo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 11 minutes of play, Metán's Felipe Theodore made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Norberto Bilbo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alejo Ebardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Magdaleno in the 15th minute of the match. If Moises Quinteros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alejo Ebardo made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Narciso Dabi sent off a good shot on target. Pablo Chorache might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alejo Ebardo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pablo Chorache ran back to his position shaking his head. Narciso Dabi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejo Ebardo having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Narciso Dabi notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Metán's Alejo Ebardo. Alejo Ebardo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 40thth minute of the game Pablo Chorache who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Metán's Alejo Ebardo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 44 minutes, Pablo Chorache managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Federal 's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pablo Chorache was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rodrigo Magdaleno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pablo Chorache was the one to do the kick off. Moises Quinteros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Norberto Bilbo made a huge save. When Ulises Ongile fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Federal 's protests and gave Ulises Ongile a yellow card for diving instead. Ulises Ongile hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. If Narciso Dabi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alejo Ebardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Chorache in the 63rd minute of play. Felipe Theodore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Norberto Bilbo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaudencio Nabar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejo Ebardo having to interfere. Alejo Ebardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Chorache in the 72nd minute of play. Pablo Chorache succeeded in the game's 73rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-1. Rodrigo Magdaleno got his second yellow card in the match during the 79th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 80 played minutes Federal got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Magdaleno. In the 86th minute Narciso Dabi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejo Ebardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgardo Ereinotz scored 4-1 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alejo Ebardo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 95th minute, Gaudencio Nabar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 97th minute, Narciso Dabi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alejo Ebardo was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1.
