Paulino Rio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Norberto Bilbo having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodrigo Magdaleno during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Federal getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Rodrigo Magdaleno hit a great ball. In the 8th minute, Fernando Cloyo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Federal 's Norberto Bilbo didn't even have to move. In the 10th match minute, Federal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaudencio Nabar to maneuver through the defense. Pablo Chorache recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Narciso Dabi struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Melquiades Egun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Federal . Norberto Bilbo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulino Rio in the 27th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Federal 's Edgardo Ereinotz got a free kick in the 28th minute. Melquiades Egun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Chorache in the 34th minute of the match. Pablo Chorache might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Melquiades Egun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pablo Chorache ran back to his position shaking his head. Federal 's Pablo Chorache got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 44 minutes into the match, galacticos de paternal's goalkeeper Melquiades Egun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Narciso Dabi. In the 47th minute Pablo Chorache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Egun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the match clock showed 51 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Pablo Chorache sped through galacticos de paternal's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Melquiades Egun. In the 56th match minute, galacticos de paternal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezequiel Maria to maneuver through the defense. Narciso Dabi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Melquiades Egun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Federal 's goalkeeper Norberto Bilbo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Narciso Dabi in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Melquiades Egun saved galacticos de paternal from getting behind. Norberto Bilbo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teofilo Etxekopar, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Paulino Rio scored 2-1 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Norberto Bilbo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pablo Chorache fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Egun having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, Narciso Dabi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Melquiades Egun. galacticos de paternal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Narciso Dabi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. A collision led to galacticos de paternal getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Martin Gumaro hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute, Pablo Chorache left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Federal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. When the referee ended the match the Federal players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
