Florencio Tristan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Calixto having to interfere. 6 minutes into the game, Generoso Remir was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rodriguez's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ira Dei the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 6th minute of the game. One of Rodriguez:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ira Dei:s goal. 18 minutes into the match, Rodriguez's goal looked a bit too open when Israel Herauso came free, but Cristobal Calixto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 19 minutes, Lisandro Montrelle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ira Dei's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lisandro Montrelle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 37th minute, Generoso Remir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 42 minutes into the match, Lisandro Montrelle had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristobal Calixto. Rodriguez's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lisandro Montrelle was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 46 minutes into the game, Ira Dei's Lisandro Montrelle nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cristobal Calixto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lisandro Montrelle stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Lisandro Montrelle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cirilo Bladi hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Lisandro Montrelle did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-5 to the left of a surprised Cristobal Calixto 68 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Ira Dei's Lisandro Montrelle slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cristobal Calixto. That made the score 0-6 after 73 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Israel Herauso in the 76th minute of play forced Rodriguez's goalkeeper Cristobal Calixto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Lisandro Montrelle had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristobal Calixto. Rodriguez's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lisandro Montrelle was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. After some careless play in the Rodriguez defense, Israel Herauso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristobal Calixto. The Rodriguez fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristobal Calixto should have stopped the shot. Simon Iraitz kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ira Dei's Cirilo Bladi got a free kick in the 96th minute.
