Marco Santikurtz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddy Mouricio in the 24th minute of the match. Rigoberto Gartzen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Calixto having to interfere. Freddy Mouricio took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marco Santikurtz. Marco Santikurtz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Blas Ferrando managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rodriguez's supporters rose to their feet, but Blas Ferrando was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Santikurtz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rigoberto Gartzen to make the kick off. Rodriguez's Denis Bembe shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 52nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Marco Santikurtz but with some difficulty. A collision led to Puchuzún FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Tobias Petri hit a great ball. Vinicio Pinto was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 57th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Freddy Mouricio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Marco Santikurtz made a huge save. Rigoberto Gartzen struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Cristobal Calixto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Puchuzún FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blas Ferrando in the 70th minute of play forced Puchuzún FC's goalkeeper Marco Santikurtz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Santikurtz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blas Ferrando in the 72nd minute of play. With a little luck, Puchuzún FC's Marco Santikurtz got control of the ball when Freddy Mouricio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marco Santikurtz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blas Ferrando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Freddy Mouricio kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Pascual Alvarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Calixto having to interfere. If Rigoberto Gartzen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th match minute, Rodriguez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ariel Perico to maneuver through the defense. 88 minutes into the game, Puchuzún FC's Rigoberto Gartzen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cristobal Calixto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Freddy Mouricio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marco Santikurtz having to make a save. After 97 played minutes Puchuzún FC got a freekick which was hit by Anibal Baraquiel. Puchuzún FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
