Conrado Lizardi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benedicto Jatsu went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 20 minutes into the match, Itacaruaré AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Benedicto Jatsu came free, but Conrado Lizardi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramiro Chus was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Justo Eguntsenti showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 22 minute of play. Benedicto Jatsu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Ángeles del Silencio FC's Ramiro Chus got control of the ball when Candido Pello tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 40th minute, Jesus Goiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 46 minutes into the game, Federico Marko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ángeles del Silencio FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Itacaruaré AFC the free kick. In the 46th minute, one of Ángeles del Silencio FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ángeles del Silencio FC. Ramiro Chus went to the wrong direction when Aldo Nevada was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Omar Ramirez to make the kick off. Ángeles del Silencio FC's Benedicto Jatsu got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benedicto Jatsu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Conrado Lizardi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Conrado Lizardi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benedicto Jatsu in the 59th minute. Rafael Chinto hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Benedicto Jatsu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Conrado Lizardi made a huge save. In the 72nd minute, Benedicto Jatsu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Conrado Lizardi was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Ramiro Chus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Candido Pello in the 83rd minute of play. Ramiro Chus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justo Eguntsenti in the 93rd minute of the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
