Angostura FC's Jakub Ciborek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Angostura FC from getting a goal against them. Alejo Chinto hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. During the 16th minute of the match Alejo Chinto completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Alejo Chinto a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, C.A Defensores del Doctor's Alejo Chinto got a free kick in the 16th minute. Julian Beltran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Amador Rufo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to C.A Defensores del Doctor getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Leonel Madaleno hit a great ball. The nice shot from Maximiliano Oskarbi in the 24thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Jakub Ciborek had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. 26 minutes into the match, Angostura FC's goalkeeper Jakub Ciborek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maximiliano Oskarbi. Adan Guilabertus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jakub Ciborek having to interfere. Julian Beltran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Amador Rufo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amador Rufo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Cordarryl, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. C.A Defensores del Doctor's Amador Rufo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Beltran in the 40th minute of play. Julian Beltran's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amador Rufo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julian Beltran to strike the kick off in the second half. Angostura FC's Oscar Cordarryl was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 53rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Beltran got free with Amador Rufo in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Amador Rufo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantino Colon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julian Beltran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oscar Cordarryl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Amador Rufo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 87 minutes into the game, Julian Beltran cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Amador Rufo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
