Oscar Cordarryl's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gregorio Bela read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Jakub Ciborek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Serafino Reno in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julian Beltran to strike the kick off in the second half. Serafino Reno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Constantino Colon was extremely unlucky when he, in the 56th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Gregorio Bela didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 57th minute, which inside left pole to 2-2.
