The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Riveros's Tadeo Rey got control of the ball when Benedicto Jatsu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wilfredo Sabino struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Ramiro Chus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Riveros. Ramiro Chus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfredo Sabino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Ángeles del Silencio FC's zone, David Atarratze stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramiro Chus came out of the goal and David Atarratze tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ramiro Chus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilfredo Sabino in the 16th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, David Atarratze managed to get in a good position for a shot. Riveros's supporters rose to their feet, but David Atarratze was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramiro Chus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 20 minutes into the match, Riveros's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Ramirez came free, but Tadeo Rey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramiro Chus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfredo Sabino in the 26th minute of play. Tadeo Rey was a little too slow when Omar Ramirez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 39th match minute, Riveros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robustiano Beila to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Ángeles del Silencio FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Rafael Chinto hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute, David Atarratze got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wilfredo Sabino was the one to do the kick off. Riveros's Tadeo Rey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedicto Jatsu in the 62nd minute of play. After having played for 64 minutes, Benedicto Jatsu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ángeles del Silencio FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benedicto Jatsu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 69 minutes into the game, Rafael Chinto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Tadeo Rey was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wilfredo Sabino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro Chus having to interfere. In the 78th match minute, Ángeles del Silencio FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Chinto to maneuver through the defense. Placido Botello, 79 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. David Atarratze sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benedicto Jatsu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeo Rey having to interfere. Omar Ramirez scored 6-0 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tadeo Rey, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wilfredo Sabino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ángeles del Silencio FC had won after a very even match.
