With his leg Tomás Boni managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Deportivo Sarsfield's Gualterio Buinton fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Carmelo Shantala's late challenge caught a Weedcelona FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carmelo Shantala helped the player get up and apologised. After 17 played minutes Deportivo Sarsfield got a freekick which was hit by Carmelo Shantala. Nicanor Martxel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baltasar Tolino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Weedcelona FC's Tomás Boni got control of the ball when Gualterio Buinton tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tomás Boni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Acosta in the 28th minute of the match. If Baltasar Tolino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicanor Martxel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ubaldo Quico, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. If Baltasar Tolino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 35 minutes into the game, Weedcelona FC's Ubaldo Quico nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicanor Martxel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 44th minute Miguel Acosta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Boni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Sarsfield's goalkeeper Nicanor Martxel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Deportivo Sarsfield's Nicanor Martxel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baltasar Tolino in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 56th minute Deportivo Sarsfield were awarded a corner. Celedonio Fernandes went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Celedonio Fernandes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tomás Boni quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Deportivo Sarsfield's Miguel Acosta in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Weedcelona FC's goalie prevented a goal. If Baltasar Tolino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ubaldo Quico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicanor Martxel having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Weedcelona FC's zone, Gualterio Buinton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomás Boni came out of the goal and Gualterio Buinton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baltasar Tolino in the 68thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nicanor Martxel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 70 played minutes Deportivo Sarsfield got a freekick which was hit by Delmar Cibran. 71 minutes into the match, Weedcelona FC's Everardo Savion broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Nicanor Martxel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ubaldo Quico in the 77th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Ubaldo Quico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miguel Acosta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Tomás Boni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomás Boni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Acosta in the 90th minute of play. Adolfo Erroman charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adolfo Erroman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Deportivo Sarsfield booed when Weedcelona FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Erroman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute of the match Deportivo Sarsfield got a corner. Weedcelona FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Celedonio Fernandes ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Celedonio Fernandes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Weedcelona FC's Tomás Boni did a great save. The Deportivo Sarsfield supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Weedcelona FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Weedcelona FC.
