Spectators: 7285 (Terracing: 5466, Seating: 1675, VIP seats: 144) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Damian Malvin kicked off to start the match. Eusebio Martino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ricard Rutherford went, in the 2nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Ricard Rutherford took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eusebio Martino. Eusebio Martino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Eusebio Martino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elpidio Faro's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Narciso Marin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Eusebio Martino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricard Rutherford fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusebio Martino having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Narciso Marin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Puestito fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Ricard Rutherford fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusebio Martino having to interfere. Puestito's Ricard Rutherford got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Narciso Marin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Eusebio Martino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Puestito's Rolando Bazil was substituted for Narciso Marin. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ricard Rutherford to strike the kick off in the second half. Eusebio Martino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricard Rutherford in the 58th minute of play. In the 70th minute Damian Malvin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ezequiel Maureo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ezequiel Maureo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Tonio in the 73rd minute of play. Puestito's Ezequiel Maureo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Tonio in the 74th minute of play. Ricard Rutherford recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Pastor Mercurio fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rosario Futbol Club's protests and gave Pastor Mercurio a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Puestito booed when Rosario Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pastor Mercurio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricard Rutherford struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Eusebio Martino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Puestito. Rolando Bazil blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eusebio Martino having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Ricard Rutherford kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eusebio Martino. That made the score 0-8 in the 96 minute of play. The Rosario Futbol Club fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Puestito were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
