The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Filiberto Diagur struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Aquilino Ondino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A BOCA JUNIOR. C.A BOCA JUNIOR's Arnoldo Fidensio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cayetano Alvarez in the 8th minute of play. Filiberto Diagur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayetano Alvarez in the 22nd minute of play forced C.A BOCA JUNIOR's goalkeeper Arnoldo Fidensio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Siro Santikurtz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Aquilino Ondino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clemente Ferdinand might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnoldo Fidensio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Clemente Ferdinand ran back to his position shaking his head. If Cayetano Alvarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cayetano Alvarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Fidensio having to interfere. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind C.A BOCA JUNIOR's goalkeeper Arnoldo Fidensio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The wind increased when Filiberto Diagur made the kick off in the second half. Arnoldo Fidensio was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Cayetano Alvarez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cayetano Alvarez really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Clemente Ferdinand recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Roberto Sein came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Barrealito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roberto Sein couldn't finish the play. Clemente Ferdinand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Arnoldo Fidensio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68thth minute of the game Cayetano Alvarez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A BOCA JUNIOR's Arnoldo Fidensio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Clemente Ferdinand could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Arnoldo Fidensio made a huge save. 83 minutes into the game, Clemente Ferdinand lined in a short shot 0-3 behind a frustrated Arnoldo Fidensio. Arnoldo Fidensio made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Clemente Ferdinand sent off a good shot on target. Clemente Ferdinand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Fidensio having to interfere. C.A BOCA JUNIOR's defense didn't have a chance, in the 88th minute, when Cayetano Alvarez scored to the left of an out of position Arnoldo Fidensio, making the score, 0-4. After a rather tough play, Barrealito's Ariel Dantae got a free kick in the 92nd minute. After some careless play in the Barrealito defense, Siro Santikurtz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aquilino Ondino. The Barrealito fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aquilino Ondino should have stopped the shot. Barrealito's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
