The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teofilo Burni was the one to do the kick off. Haroldo Lidon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Bartolo Llope came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Los Pibes Regresan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bartolo Llope couldn't finish the play. In the 79th minute of the match Alfonso Amato shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Haroldo Lidon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Bartolo Llope recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Narciso Aznar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Senin in the 86th minute of play. Lino Senin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Despite being the better team, VIZCACHA FULBO failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
