Basilio Harkaitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Burni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aureliano Eguzki's late challenge caught a VIZCACHA FULBO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aureliano Eguzki helped the player get up and apologised. In the 18th minute, Amancio Corderall got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 24 minutes, Marco Ariando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arsenal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco Ariando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teofilo Burni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basilio Harkaitz having to interfere. 32 minutes into the game, Jacobo Gonzalez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arsenal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave VIZCACHA FULBO the free kick. After 33 played minutes Arsenal got a freekick which was hit by Jacobo Gonzalez. In the 33rd minute, Benigno Acosta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 35th minute, Leon Ralondo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teofilo Burni might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Basilio Harkaitz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teofilo Burni ran back to his position shaking his head. Amancio Corderall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haroldo Lidon having to interfere. If Marco Ariando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marco Ariando stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Haroldo Lidon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Ralondo in the 53rd minute of play. Teofilo Burni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Teofilo Burni received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Basilio Harkaitz came out and tried to block the shot, but Teofilo Burni slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 60th minute. Aquiles Txatxu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leon Ralondo was shown his second yellow card after 70 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of VIZCACHA FULBO booed when Arsenal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Ralondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 76 minutes, Jeronimo Calixto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the VIZCACHA FULBO and the Arsenal players grew even worse after the yellow card. Amancio Corderall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haroldo Lidon having to interfere. Haroldo Lidon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amancio Corderall in the 80th minute of play. If Teofilo Burni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amancio Corderall recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90th minute Teofilo Burni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basilio Harkaitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. VIZCACHA FULBO's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
