Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Reyes del Esférico's Alonzo Ortzi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Reinulf's goalkeeper Arturo Rosio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Baltasar Shantala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Rosio having to interfere. Arturo Rosio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alonzo Ortzi in the 15th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Reinulf's goal looked a bit too open when Alonzo Ortzi came free, but Arturo Rosio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arturo Rosio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alonzo Ortzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 23 minutes into the match, Samuel Chorche had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rafael Esquipula. Reyes del Esférico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Samuel Chorche was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Alonzo Ortzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Arturo Rosio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Baltasar Shantala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the match, Reyes del Esférico's goalkeeper Rafael Esquipula had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valentin Abascal. In the 36th minute, Valentin Abascal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rafael Esquipula showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Chorche, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Valentin Abascal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Reinulf booed when Reyes del Esférico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godofredo Joey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reinulf's Valentin Abascal got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Baltasar Shantala came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Reyes del Esférico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baltasar Shantala couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valentin Abascal made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Agustin Ciceron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Rosio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, Godofredo Joey notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Reinulf's Arturo Rosio. Arturo Rosio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Reyes del Esférico's Rafael Esquipula played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Chorche in the 65th minute of play. Samuel Chorche charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Samuel Chorche the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 68th match minute, Reinulf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Chorche to maneuver through the defense. Arturo Rosio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Goyo in the 74th minute of the match. Baltasar Shantala's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arturo Rosio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Samuel Chorche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Esquipula having to interfere. If Samuel Chorche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuel Chorche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Rafael Esquipula tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Agustin Ciceron fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Reyes del Esférico's protests and gave Agustin Ciceron a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Reyes del Esférico's Agustin Ciceron got a free kick in the 90th minute. Faustino Cordero's late challenge caught a Reyes del Esférico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Faustino Cordero helped the player get up and apologised. In the 91st match minute, Reinulf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustino Cordero to maneuver through the defense. Alonzo Ortzi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Arturo Rosio came out and tried to block the shot, but Alonzo Ortzi slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 94th minute. The Reinulf supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Reyes del Esférico's performance. The match ended with a win for Reyes del Esférico.
