Marco Ariando started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Faustino Garin fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Basilio Harkaitz, passed just outside the right post. Arsenal's Basilio Harkaitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingos Umea in the 6th minute of play. 15 minutes into the game, Arsenal's Marco Ariando nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Casimiro Quentin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Sarandí's Domingos Umea got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Domingos Umea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacobo Gonzalez kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the game Armando Orzaize kicked a great long shot which passed Basilio Harkaitz straight ahead into the goal, Result 1-1. One couldn't see Armando Orzaize behind all of his teammates who surrounded to congratulate him. If Marco Ariando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacobo Gonzalez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Casimiro Quentin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingos Umea in the 48th minute of play forced Arsenal's goalkeeper Basilio Harkaitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Basilio Harkaitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faustino Garin, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Marco Ariando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacobo Gonzalez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casimiro Quentin having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Godfredo Vimaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marco Ariando in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Casimiro Quentin saved Sarandí from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Arsenal's Leo Quentin got a free kick in the 68th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Arsenal's goal looked a bit too open when Domingos Umea came free, but Basilio Harkaitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arsenal's Marco Ariando got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 77 minutes into the match, Marco Ariando notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Sarandí's Casimiro Quentin. Casimiro Quentin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marco Ariando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Casimiro Quentin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marco Ariando's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Marco Ariando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casimiro Quentin having to interfere. Amancio Corderall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casimiro Quentin having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Arsenal left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sarandí.
