A collision led to Ben-Hur getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Omar Steven hit a great ball. Ramon Unai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Hipolito Umea made a huge save. When Ben-Hur's Inocencio Ferrer in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bermejo's goalie prevented a goal. 14 minutes into the game, Isaac Jobo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Christian Olentzaro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Inocencio Ferrer came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Ben-Hur fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Inocencio Ferrer couldn't finish the play. 27 minutes into the game, Tomás Txindoki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ben-Hur's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bermejo the free kick. In the 27th match minute, Ben-Hur was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Txindoki to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 30 minutes, Inocencio Ferrer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ben-Hur's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inocencio Ferrer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Bermejo's goal looked a bit too open when Inocencio Ferrer came free, but Christian Olentzaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Isaac Jobo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inocencio Ferrer in the 39th minute of play forced Bermejo's goalkeeper Christian Olentzaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute, Bermejo's Rusty Coldicutt ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hipolito Umea. Hipolito Umea yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1.

Inocencio Ferrer hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Bermejo's Christian Olentzaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Jobo in the 67th minute of play. Ramon Unai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hipolito Umea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rusty Coldicutt went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. In the 96th minute Rusty Coldicutt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hipolito Umea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Bermejo fully deserved thier win.
