Melchor Venceslao was a little too slow when Rusty Coldicutt got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 2-0. Isaac Herauso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Olentzaro having to interfere. The supporters of Bermejo booed when Barra AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvano Fernado didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute, Rusty Coldicutt made a precise shot to the right of Melchor Venceslao. Barra AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Rusty Coldicutt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Melchor Venceslao read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. If Rusty Coldicutt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rusty Coldicutt took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Melchor Venceslao. Melchor Venceslao dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Bermejo's Christian Olentzaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Herauso in the 43rd minute of play. Barra AFC's Melchor Venceslao proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Barra AFC from getting a goal against them. After 46 played minutes Bermejo got a freekick which was hit by Cristobal Astigar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

63 minutes into the match, Bermejo's Rusty Coldicutt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Melchor Venceslao narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 64 minutes into the match, Bermejo's goalkeeper Christian Olentzaro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maximino Rayman. Isaac Herauso hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Bermejo's Chico Correia got a free kick in the 69th minute. 72 minutes into the game, Roque Xacintu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bermejo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barra AFC the free kick. In the 72nd minute, Roque Xacintu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 73 minutes, Isaac Herauso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barra AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isaac Herauso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Christian Olentzaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaac Herauso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute, Maximino Rayman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Bermejo's zone, Isaac Herauso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Olentzaro came out of the goal and Isaac Herauso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Silvano Fernado fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barra AFC's protests and gave Silvano Fernado a yellow card for diving instead. In the 89th match minute, Barra AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvano Fernado to maneuver through the defense. If Rusty Coldicutt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bermejo were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Barra AFC for a fine match.
