Everardo Claus started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Melquiades Paulin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 5thth minute of the game Melquiades Paulin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Cucu Team's Israel Jerano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Israel Jerano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melquiades Paulin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvestre Mikolas in the 12th minute of play forced Altobillo FC's goalkeeper Vinicio Erlantz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eloy Bertran kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Amancio Eate had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Israel Jerano. El Cucu Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amancio Eate was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 23rd minute, Silvestre Mikolas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amancio Eate in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Israel Jerano, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Everardo Claus struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Vinicio Erlantz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Cucu Team. 32 minutes into the match, Altobillo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Silvestre Mikolas came free, but Vinicio Erlantz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd match minute, Altobillo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvestre Ibon to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Altobillo FC's zone, Silvestre Mikolas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vinicio Erlantz came out of the goal and Silvestre Mikolas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 41 minutes into the match, Altobillo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Everardo Claus came free, but Vinicio Erlantz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amancio Eate got free with Israel Jerano in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Melquiades Paulin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Melquiades Paulin was the one to do the kick off. Silvestre Ibon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 55 minutes into the game, Altobillo FC's Amancio Eate nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Israel Jerano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. If Amancio Eate had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 68th minute, Jimeno Otsando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Melquiades Paulin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Everardo Claus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vinicio Erlantz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. El Cucu Team's Guillermo Jakes pulled a muscle in his leg after 74 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The supporters of El Cucu Team booed when Altobillo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvestre Ibon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jimeno Otsando was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 81st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Altobillo FC's Amancio Eate got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, El Cucu Team's Cristo Manuelo got a free kick in the 86th minute. A collision led to Altobillo FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Cosme Cuarto hit a great ball. When Amancio Eate came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Altobillo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amancio Eate couldn't finish the play. 96 minutes into the match, El Cucu Team's goal looked a bit too open when Melquiades Paulin came free, but Israel Jerano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
