In the 12th minute, Eliseo Porfirio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacobo Cordara in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Justo Gombal saved Chovet from getting behind. Justo Gombal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacobo Cordara in the 16th minute of the match. After 17 minutes, Saturnino Opilano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chovet and the Roversi players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Roversi's Jacobo Cordara in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chovet's goalie prevented a goal. Jacobo Cordara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacobo Cordara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roversi's Jacobo Cordara got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Justo Gombal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermengildo Terciero in the 46th minute of the match. Justo Gombal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacobo Cordara, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 51st minute of the match, Narciso Ikatz got a very nice opportunity to score, but Justo Gombal was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Jacobo Cordara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justo Gombal having to interfere. Justo Gombal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacobo Cordara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute, Narciso Ikatz made a precise shot to the right of Justo Gombal. Chovet's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 72 minutes into the match, Chovet's goal looked a bit too open when Jacobo Cordara came free, but Justo Gombal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hermengildo Terciero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justo Gombal having to interfere. Damaso Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Daunte in the 77th minute of play. Roversi's Jacobo Cordara got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nicolas Txerran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justo Gombal having to interfere. If Hermengildo Terciero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute Eliseo Porfirio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justo Gombal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 92 in the game by Jacobo Cordara from a close distance when the talented Justo Gombal managed to make a qualified save. Chovet's players were relieved. 93 minutes into the game, Roversi's Natalio Matteo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Justo Gombal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2.
