The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of NUEVA CHICAGO booed when Cedro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaspar Uxio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Cedro's Cirilo Salomone got a free kick in the 10th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cirilo Bernat in the 14th minute of play forced NUEVA CHICAGO's goalkeeper Baldomero Weather to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Teodoro Chale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 20 played minutes NUEVA CHICAGO got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Cristofor. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Justo Inautzi in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baldomero Weather saved NUEVA CHICAGO from getting behind. In the 25th minute, Leon Bermudo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Justo Inautzi struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Baldomero Weather didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cedro. Cirilo Bernat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomero Weather having to interfere. Teodoro Chale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Cedro's Justo Inautzi in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. NUEVA CHICAGO's Baldomero Weather tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Justino Mogel made a kick off. Justo Inautzi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cirilo Bernat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Baldomero Weather tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Justo Inautzi's late challenge caught a NUEVA CHICAGO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Justo Inautzi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 57th match minute, Cedro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justo Inautzi to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute Justino Mogel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristo Llanos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 70 in the game by Justo Inautzi from a close distance when the talented Baldomero Weather managed to make a qualified save. NUEVA CHICAGO's players were relieved. After 71 minutes, Aurelio Cristofor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the NUEVA CHICAGO and the Cedro players grew even worse after the yellow card. Baldomero Weather was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Justo Inautzi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Baldomero Weather made a huge save. Ceferino Patxi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristo Llanos having to interfere. In the 90th minute Ceferino Patxi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristo Llanos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teodoro Chale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 94 minutes, Cirilo Salomone mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cedro and the NUEVA CHICAGO players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Cedro getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Cirilo Salomone hit a great ball. When the final whistle sounded Cedro left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than NUEVA CHICAGO.
