When Basilio Ciano came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Acevedo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basilio Ciano couldn't finish the play. With his leg Prospero Estefan managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when Camboyanos's Angelo Urtungo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Prospero Estefan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Urtungo in the 10th minute of play. Jesus Bittor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 14 minutes into the match, Acevedo's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Urtungo came free, but Prospero Estefan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18 minutes into the game, Justo Urki cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Inocencio Montrell was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 23 minutes into the match, Camboyanos's Angelo Urtungo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Prospero Estefan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Acevedo's Prospero Estefan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Acevedo from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Acevedo defense, Jesus Bittor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Prospero Estefan. The Acevedo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Prospero Estefan should have stopped the shot. Justo Urki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Acevedo's Justo Urki got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Camboyanos's goalkeeper Inocencio Montrell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Prospero Estefan made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Jesus Bittor sent off a good shot on target. In the 40th minute, Angelo Urtungo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After some careless play in the Camboyanos defense, Basilio Ciano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Inocencio Montrell. The Camboyanos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Inocencio Montrell should have stopped the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Angelo Urtungo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 57 minutes, Jesus Bittor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Camboyanos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jesus Bittor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Acevedo getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Joaquin Maidana hit a great ball. If Justo Urki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 65 played minutes Camboyanos got a freekick which was hit by Jesus Bittor. Inocencio Montrell made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Basilio Ciano sent off a good shot on target. In the 69th match minute, Camboyanos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Odon to maneuver through the defense. Inocencio Montrell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justo Urki in the 71st minute of the match. Camboyanos's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Justo Urki 88 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-3. Prospero Estefan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Urtungo, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. If Basilio Ciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Acevedo's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
