Fabricio Romelio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Faustino Lehen fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bauen.Arg's protests and gave Faustino Lehen a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th minute, Faustino Lehen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd minute, Bauen.Arg's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cirilo Bernat fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Cedro's Cirilo Bernat got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Faustino Lehen hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. If Blas Sagrario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teodoro Chale blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabricio Romelio having to make a save. Gabriel Quintun received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fabricio Romelio came out and tried to block the shot, but Gabriel Quintun slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 36th minute. Teodoro Chale struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Fabricio Romelio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cedro. Justo Inautzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 46 minutes into the match, Cedro's Cirilo Bernat sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabricio Romelio narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teodoro Chale to make the kick off. Cedro's Cristo Llanos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Cedro from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Teodoro Chale managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cedro's supporters rose to their feet, but Teodoro Chale was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabricio Romelio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fabricio Romelio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teodoro Chale went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Cirilo Bernat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabricio Romelio having to interfere. Teodoro Chale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 68 played minutes Bauen.Arg got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Maju. After 72 minutes, Delmiro Tauro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bauen.Arg and the Cedro players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 72nd minute of the game. One of Bauen.Arg:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cedro:s goal. When Teodoro Chale came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Cedro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teodoro Chale couldn't finish the play. Generoso Ascencio struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Cristo Llanos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bauen.Arg. After a defensive mix-up in Bauen.Arg's zone, Teodoro Chale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabricio Romelio came out of the goal and Teodoro Chale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bauen.Arg's Fabricio Romelio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cirilo Bernat in the 96th minute of play. If Teodoro Chale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cedro's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
