NUEVA CHICAGO's Justino Mogel got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Luisito Celino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baldomero Weather was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. In the 26th minute Elvio Johans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomero Weather saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ceferino Patxi came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the NUEVA CHICAGO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ceferino Patxi couldn't finish the play. If Elvio Johans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 42 minutes, Ceferino Patxi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The supporters of NUEVA CHICAGO booed when Pasion & Baile FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramon Feliz didn't get a good kick on the ball. NUEVA CHICAGO's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Manuel Gilabert in the 46th minute. The corner led NUEVA CHICAGO's Manuel Gilabert to fire away a dangerous shot which Abelardo Osoitz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Baldomero Weather made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luisito Celino in the 52nd minute. Justino Mogel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Abelardo Osoitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elvio Johans recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arnaldo Arnas hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Luisito Celino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pasion & Baile FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luisito Celino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baldomero Weather breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 81 played minutes NUEVA CHICAGO got a freekick which was hit by Cristo Geofredo. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elvio Johans in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baldomero Weather prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Elvio Johans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Ceferino Patxi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th match minute, Pasion & Baile FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramon Feliz to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the Pasion & Baile FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for NUEVA CHICAGO.
